INCORPORATED 1718 FALMOUTH Public Notice MAINE The Falmouth Town Council will hold a Leaf Bag Collection virtual public hearing on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 7:00pm via Zoom to hear public comment on an application for a Spring curbside collection for leaf bags will be on: Friday, April 30 Friday, May 14 (Note, no leaf collection on Friday, May 7!) new license for the Cumberland Farmer's Market Association to establish a summer market (May- October, 2021) at 23 Hat Trick Drive. The statutory budget meeting for the Budget Validation Referendum will be held on May 10, 2021 at 7:00pm via Zoom on the following article which will be the subject of a referendum vote on June 8, 2021. Question 1: Do you favor approving the Town of Falmouth school budget for the upcoming school year that was adopted at the Town Council meeting held on May 10, 2021. Leaf bags MUST be curbside by 7am. Leaf bags are for leaves only. Brush is not collected curbside but can be brought to the Transfer Station during opening hours. FMI: call 781- 3919. The Town of Falmouth is now accepting nominations for the 2020 Citizen of the Year FALMOUTH Award. Nominations must be 500 words or less CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD 2020 and will be judged by the Town Council on the following criteria: Contributions to community welfare Civic achievement Volunteerism Conscientious service to Falmouth Town government The Award will be presented to the 2020 Citizen of the Year in June.
