INCORPORATED 1718 FALMOUTH MAINE Volunteer Opportunities The following Town boards and committees seek volunteers to fill current vacancies: Holiday Hours & Services With the exception of the Transfer Station, Town Facilities will be closed Board of Sewer Appeals (2) Community Wellness Committee (3) Conservation Commission (1) Climate Action Planning Committee (4) Falmouth Memorial Library Board (1) Recycling & Energy Advisory Committee (2) Applications and more info can be found at www.falmouthme.org or by calling 781-5253. Friday & Saturday, Dec. 31 & Jan. 1. The Transfer Station will be open reduced hours on Friday, Dec. 31 from 7am-1pm and closed Saturday, Jan. 1. Trash & recycling will be Dog Licenses Expire Dec. 31 All current dog licenses expire December 31, 2021. Maine law requires any dog over age 6 months to be licensed by January 1. In person registration is available at the Town Clerk's collected as usual the week of Dec. 27, including Friday, Office at Falmouth Town Hall or register online Dec. 31. Place bins curbside at www.maine.gov. Cost: Neutered/Spayed by 7am to ensure pickup. $6.00; Unaltered Male or Female $11.00.
