INCORPORATED PI FALMOUTH MAINE Memorial Day Falmouth's Memorial Day Parade will start at 10am on Monday, May 30 at the American Legion and proceed to Pine Grove Preserve for a ceremony, featuring the Falmouth Middle and High School bands and choruses. Falmouth veterans and their families are invited to a coffee/pastry breakfast prior to the parade at 8:30am at the American Legion Post, 65 Depot Road. FMI: 781-2300. Wednesday Wellness Walks Join the Falmouth Community Wellness Committee for walks at Maine Audubon each Wednesday in June. Meet at 12:15pm starting June 1, in the parking lot on Gilsland Farm Road. Bring a friend and walk as long as you like. Take Note The Mackworth Island Informational Meeting has been rescheduled to June 29 at 6pm at Falmouth Town Hall and via Zoom. Fire-EMS Scholarship Falmouth Fire-EMS is offering a $1000 scholarship to high school seniors 1718 MAINE living in Falmouth who plan post-secondary education in the field of firefighting, emergency medical services, nursing, or related field. Election Notice & Information The Town of Falmouth will hold the Municipal Election and Budget Validation Referendum on June 14, 2022. Sample ballots available online and by request. 2022 ELECTIONS Voter Registration: Call the Registrar at 699-5320. Request an Absentee Ballot: By Phone: Call the Town Clerk's Office at 699-5320. In Person: Visit Town Hall to pick up a ballot. Monday 7:00am-4:30pm; Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm; Closed Fridays. By Mail: Print an Absentee Ballot Request Form at www.falmouthme.org/town-clerk/pages/municipal-election and mail to Town Clerk, 271 Falmouth Rd., Falmouth, ME 04105. Submit Your Voted Absentee Ballot: Voted absentee ballots must be received by the municipal clerk by 8:00pm on Election Day. Completed absentee ballot may be returned three ways: Official Ballot Drop Box in the front of Town Hall. In Person to the Clerk's Department at Falmouth Town Hall. By Mail. Ballots are not accepted by postmark dates. Any ballots received after 8:00pm on Election Day will be rejected. On Election Day, voted absentee ballots may be submitted at the polling place or via the drop box at Town Hall. Absentee Voting: In person absentee voting begins on Monday, May 16 at Town Hall during opening hours. Extended hours for voting will be offered Thursday, June 9, from 4:30-6:30pm.
