INCORPORATED 118 FALMOUTH Holiday Closure Wednesday Wellness Walks Join the Falmouth Community Wellness Committee for walks at 12:15pm each Wednesday in June at the Maine Audubon. Walk as long as you like along groomed trails. Meet in the parking lot. Town offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, June 20 in observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day. The regularly scheduled Town Council meeting will take place as usual at 7pm at Town Hall, with a virtual option. This will be the only Council meeting held in June. Public Comment Mackworth Island Informational Meeting Wednesday, May 18, 6:00-8:00pm Falmouth Town Hall & Virtually The Maine Dept. of Administrative & Financial Services, the Maine Educational Center for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing/Governor Baxter School for the Deaf, the Maine Dept. of Education, and the Maine Dept. of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry will hold an informational meeting about planning taking place on Mackworth Island. An opportunity for public input and a Q&A session will conclude the meeting, which will be held at Falmouth Town Hall Council Chambers. In-person and remote attendance via Zoom are available. LESS THE UNIVERSITY OF MAINE The University of Maine Cooperative Extension and Falmouth Community Wellness Committee invite you to stroll through marked beds of plantings that include over 50 native species, speak with master gardener volunteers, and affirm how gardening supports personal, interpersonal and community wellness. WHEN: Saturday, June 18, 10am-12pm WHERE: Gardens at Tidewater Farm Presumpscot Point Road, Falmouth; nestled behind the Tidewater neighborhood off Farmgate Road. Plenty of parking. JUNE THE DELTA KNIGHTS 27 This Portland-based band, now in its 26th year, specializes in R & B, blues, classic rock, and swing. CUMBERLAND COMMUNITY BAND JULY 11 Enthusiastic amateur musicians from all walks of life and talent play concert band music selections including marches, show tunes, and many other classics. JULY 12/0c 25 A band of brothers doing what they love, inspired by artists such as Chris Stapleton and Morgan Wallen.
