INCORPORATED 1 FALMOUTH MAINE Mackworth Island Informational Meeting Wednesday, June 29, 6:00-8:00pm Falmouth Town Hall The Maine Dept. of Administrative & Financial Services, the Maine Educational Center for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing/Governor Baxter School for the Deaf, the Maine Dept. of Education, and the Maine Dept. of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry will hold an public meeting about planning taking place on Mackworth Island. An opportunity for public input and a Q&A session will conclude the meeting, which will be held at Falmouth Town Hall Council Chambers and include an ASL interpreter. Members of the public may participate in the meeting in person or via Zoom. An application for the renewal of a permanent food license for Walmart (206 US Route 1), Ricetta's (240 Route 1, Unit A), Handy Boat Service, Inc. Dockside Grill and Dockside Provisions (215 Foreside Road), Portland Country Club Clubhouse and Pool Café (11 Foreside Road), Shaw's Supermarkets (251 US Route 1), Nouria Energy Retail (264 US RT 1), and Nouria Energy Retail (265 US RT 1). Ordinance amendments to Chapter II-7 and Chapter II-19 of the Code of Ordinances relative to removing outdated and unnecessary language, bringing consistency to policies, and improving the usability of the ordinances. Wednesday Wellness Walks Join the Falmouth Community Wellness Committee for walks at 12:15pm each Wednesday in June at the Maine Audubon. Walk as long as you like along groomed trails. Meet in the parking lot. UNDER CONSTRUCTION West Falmouth Sewer Upgrades Work has begun on the West Falmouth Sewer Project and will continue this summer, including along Middle, Bucknam, and Woods Roads, in the Woodlands neighborhood, and at the Falmouth Road Pump Station. Residents can expect some delays when travelling through these work zones.
