****** 2020 ELECTIONS INCORPORATED 1718 Vision & Values Update Public Notice The Falmouth Town Council will hold a virtual public hearing on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 7:00 PM via Zoom to hear public comment on a food service license FALMOUTH Election Update MAINE The Clerk's Office has received over 6,900 requests for absentee ballots for the November 3 Election. Ballots must be received by election officials (not postmarked) by November 3. Completed ballots can be submitted as follows: Hand deliver your ballot to Falmouth Town Hall during business hours (8am-4pm/Monday-Thursday), OR Drop your ballot in the new secure ballot drop box available 24/7 at Falmouth Town Hall, OR Bring your ballot to the polling place (Falmouth High School Gym) on Election Day, November 3 (7am-8pm). By Mail: The USPS does not recommend mailing a ballot The Town of Falmouth recently launched its Vision and Values Project to help inform the comprehensive plan update process. Phase one of this renewal application for Subway (219 US Route 1). project includes the implementation of a community-wide survey about the future of the Town and community. Work is underway on the survey, but we are looking for input from residents in the development of survey questions. Residents are invited to join the discussion on the types of questions which should be included in the survey by visiting the Vision and Values Portal: at www.falmouthme.org. Future iQ will present a draft of the survey at the Council's November 9 meeting. Again, during this meeting there will be a special opportunity for public comment. Pending Town Council approval, the survey NOVEMBER 6 after October 26. Friday, November 13 Friday, November 20 Bags should be placed curbside by 7am. Leaf bags are for leaves only. Voting Hours at Falmouth Town Hall Falmouth residents may vote in person prior to Election Day at Falmouth Town Hall (271 Falmouth Road), Mon.-Thurs., 8am- 4pm. The last day to do so is October 30. Town Hall will offer extended voting hours on Friday, October 30 from 8am-5pm for voting. Voting will take place in the Council Chambers. Note: Social distancing may result in longer wait times and lines forming outdoors. Town Hall will not offer voting hours on Sat., Oct. 31 or Mon. Nov. 2.
