INCORPORATED 1718 Construction Update Absentee Ballots The Clerk's Office is accepting requests for absentee ballots for the November 3 election via the State of Maine Ballot Request Service at apps.web.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/AbsenteeBallot/index.pl. Ballots will not be mailed out until 30 days prior to the election. FALMOUTH Surface paving on Leighton Road is tentatively MAINE scheduled for the week of September 7. No closures or detours are expected but traffic delays are anticipated. In addition, MaineDOT has announced a full overnight closure of the Presumpscot Falls Bridge on Allen Avenue from 9:00pm on Thursday, September 10 to accommodate placement of the concrete bridge deck. It will reopen Friday, September 11 at 6:00am. Detour signs will be posted. Communications Strategic Plan During the September 14 Town Council meeting the public is invited to provide feedback regarding the proposed Communications Strategic Plan presented to the Town Council at its February 10 meeting. A second presentation will be given at this meeting. The Council would like an opportunity to hear public comment on the proposed plan prior to taking any action.
