The Town of Yarmouth ARMOUT Seeking Applicants for Town Committees LATCHS ALWAYS TRING To apply, go to yarmouth.me.us/committees You have an opportunity to have a positive impact on the community by getting involved in one of the Town's many resident advisory committees. These committees ad- vise Town Council and staff on policy, procedures, and the new initiatives. Committee members serve on a volunteer basis, and in most cases, they serve 3-year terms. Most committees meet once per month. Due to COVID, all meetings are currently being held via teleconference. All meetings are open to the public, so if you are curious about a committee, you can always attend to see what it's like. The Town is currently seeking applicants to fill openings on the following committees: Parks and Lands Pesticides Advisory Committee Planning Board Program Advisory Committee Recycling Committee Other Committees that are taking applicants on an ongoing basis: Bike & Pedestrian Committee Committee for Energy Efficiency & Sustainability (CEES) Board of Assessment Review Economic Development Advisory Board (EDAB) General Board of Appeals Harbor & Waterfront Committee Investments Advisory Committee Library Board of Trustees Shellfish Conservation Committee Rental Housing Committee To apply, go to yarmouth.me.us/committees Have questions?
