UNDER CONSTRUCTION -THE VERANDA PLAN EARTH DA METWo Spring curbside collection for leaf bags has been scheduled for: Friday, April 29 Community clean CLOSING I-295 PORTLAND-FALMOUTH APRIL 22 AT 7 PM-APRIL 25 AT 11 AM, 2022 Revaluation Update The Town of Falmouth's revaluation, begun in January 2021, will be completed by August 2022. During a revaluation, all real property in town is reviewed and assessments are adjusted to fair market value. The results of the revaluation will be applied to November 2022 property tax bills. All exterior inspections have been completed. Inspection letters providing property owners with the opportunity to schedule an interior inspection appointment have been mailed out to all improved parcels in Falmouth. Friday, May 6 The l-295 Veranda Bridge Project will have significant impact on traffic in Falmouth. All leaf bags MUST be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. to ensure collection. Leaf bags are available at the Public Works Office (101 Woods Road) in quantities of 12 per Falmouth resident address beginning UP VERANDA STREET CLOSURE Mon., April 18, 2pm-Mon., April 25, 2pm River Point Conservation Area Getting to Portland from Route 1/Veranda Street will require a significant detour. Traffic delays and congestion in Falmouth anticipated. Saturday, April 23, 9am-Noon Location: On Route 100, just east of the 1-295 AT VERANDA STREET BRIDGE FULL CLOSURE West Falmouth Crossing Shopping Center (next to Hannaford). Park at the railroad bridge or in the rear of the shopping center lot. After crossing the bridge, look for an informational kiosk to the right. We will provide Town Each participant at the clean-up will receive a FREE Fri., April 22, 7pm-Mon., April 25, 11am Monday, April 11 (WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!). Interstate traffic routed through Falmouth. Local road closures, congestion, and delays on Rte. 1, Rte. 88, Bucknam, Middle, Falmouth, Depot, and Lunt Roads.
