NOTICE OF SALE OF TAX- ACQUIRED PROPERTY The Town of Pownal, Maine is accepting bids for the purchase of the municipalities interest in a certain parcel of tax-acquired property (Tax Map 6, Lot 69) located at 66 Verrill Road in Pownal until 6:00p.m. on May 13, 2019 at the Pownal Town Office, 429 Hallowell Road, Pownal, ME 04069 Bids will be opened and reviewed by the Board of Selectmen at the municipal office at 6:00p.m. on May 13, 2019. Late bids will not be opened or considered Interested applicants may obtain bid information at the Town Office or on the Town's website www.pownalmaine.org Interested applicants may submit a formal written bid to the Administrative Assistant's attention at the Pownal Town Office, 429 Hallowell Rd, Pownal Maine 04069. There will be a minimum bid of $9,000.00 The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids deemed by the Board of Selectmen not to be in the Town's best interest as well as the right to negotiate with any bidder or proposer.
