CUMBERLAND INC MAINE TOWN OF CUMBERLAND JUNE 14, 2022 ELECTION NOTICE-ABSENTEE VOTING Absentee ballots for the June 14, 2022, Municipal, State Primary and M.S.A.D. #51 Budget Validation Referendum Election will be available on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Town Clerk's Office at Cumberland Town Hall. M.S.A.D. #51 Budget Validation Referendum ballots cannot be retumed until after the district budget meeting being held on May 19, 2022. Registered voters may vote in person or contact the Town Clerk's Office at 829-5559 to receive a ballot by mail. Telephone requests must be made by the voter only. Beginning Wednesday, May 25, 2022, new registrations must occur in person. The voter is required to show satisfactory proof of identity and residency to the Registrar. The regular office hours of the Voter Registrar/Town Clerk's Office, 290 Tuttle Road, are: Monday-Wednesday Thursday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. The Registrar will have extended hours for new registrations and absentee voting at the Town Hall on the following date: Thursday, June 9, 2022, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. For registration questions, please call the Town Clerk's Office at 829-5559, or e-mail the Town Clerk at todonnell@cumberlandmaine.com Sample ballots are available upon request. Absentee voting will end at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2022. The Clerk will process absentee ballots on Wednesday, June 8, beginning at 9:00 a.m. (unless inspection requested, then we will begin at 10:00 a.m.) until 3:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 9:00 (unless inspection requested, then we will begin at 10:00 a.m.) until 4:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m. (unless inspection requested, then we will begin at 10:00 a.m.) until 3:00 p.m. and on Election Day, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and continuing every half hour until all ballots have been processed.
