Town of Cumberland CUMBERLAND Municipal Election & MSAD #51 Budget Validation Referendum June 8, 2021 1821 MAINE On Tuesday, June 8th the Town of Cumberland will have a Municipal Election & MSAD #51 Budget Validation Referendum. Polls will be open from 7am-8pm at Cumberland Town Hall. Lines will follow social distancing guidelines and face masks will be required. Absentee Ballots are now available at Cumberland Town Hall! Our office is open Monday-Wednesday: 8am-5pm and Thursday: 8am-6pm. How to Obtain Your Absentee Ballot For the first time in over a decade, the State of Maine does not have a concurrent election with our municipal election. This means we cannot utilize their online absentee ballot request service. We apologize for this inconvenience, but hope you find the ways below as easy alternatives to obtaining your ballots! In Person: Stop by Town Hall to pick up ballots for yourself/immediate family members (spouse, child, parent, sister/brother) or vote your own ballot in person. · Over the Phone: Call the Clerk's Office at 829-5559 to request your ballot be mailed to you! Telephone requests must be made by the voter, not an immediate family member. · Email:Visit our website www.cumberlandmaine.com/electionjune2021 and complete the fillable PDF o Complete all the highlighted sections on the request form. o Save the file as your last name, first name. (Ex: Smith, Robert) o Email the request to clerks@cumberlandmaine.com.Once we receive your request, we will mail your ballots to you! The last day to Absentee Vote will be Thursday, June 3rd. The Town Clerk's Office will begin processing absentee ballots on Monday, June 7th at 10am until 5pm and continuing Tuesday, June 8th until all ballots are processed.
