CUMBERLAND INC 1821 MAINE TOWN OF CUMBERLAND JULY 14, 2020 ELECTION NOTICE-ABSENTEE VOTING Absentee ballots for the July 14, 2020, Municipal Election, State Primary and Referendum Election, and M.S.A.D. #51 Budget Validation Referendum Election will be available on Monday, June 15, 2020, at the Town Clerk's Office at Cumberland Town Hall. Registered voters may vote in person or contact the Town Clerk's Office at 829- 5559 to receive a ballot by mail. Telephone requests must be made by the voter only. Beginning Tuesday, July 7, 2020, new registrations must occur in person. The voter is required to show satisfactory proof of identity and residency to the Registrar. The regular office hours of the Voter Registrar/Town Clerk's Office, 290 Tuttle Road, are Monday-Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. The Registrar will have extended hours for new registrations and absentee voting on Thursday, July 9, 2020: 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. (Town Hall) Absentee voting will end at 8:00 p.m., Election Day, July 14, 2020. The Clerk will process absentee ballots on Friday, July 10, 2020, beginning from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and Monday, July 13, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Election Day.
