City of ELECTRONIC WASTE DROP-OFF SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 2019, 8:00AM-12:00PM MUNICIPAL SERVICES FACILITY rtlan 929 HIGHLAND AVE BH NOT ACCEPTED OK TO BRING Household Hazardous Waste items Printers/Faxes/Scanners e Cameras, camcorders, drones Televisions Household trash Air conditioners Cell & landline phones Microwaves Dehumidifiers Computers, CPU'S, servers, laptops, tablets, PDA's, e-readers Computer parts and peripherals: hard drives, motherboards, graphic cards, keyboards, mice, card readers, usb hubs, pc speakers, monitors, CRT's, modems, routers, circuit boards * Miscellaneous electronics such as: dvd/ed players, ver's, receivers, stereos, record players, tape players, radios, CB's, amplifiers, tuners, game systems Lamps, bulbs & ballasts: fluorescent, cfl, HID, sodium, UV, whole or broken TV cabinets Smoke detectors (with radioactive material only) General household (alkaline) batteries Large appliances like stoves, refrigerators VCR tapes, CDs, DVDs, floppy disks Computer software Smoke detectors without radioactive parts Mercury devices such as thermostats and thermometers (no exposed mercury permitted) Batteries: Lithium, Lithium lon, Silver Oxide, button cell, NICD/NiMH, rechargeable, lead acid What you need to know: Event is free to South Portland residents with proof of residency. No business or commercial waste accepted Event is for electronic waste only. Household hazardous waste will be collected at our separate HHW events on April 13 and October 12, 2019 Follow signs and traffic cones to form a vehicle line at the gate to the Municipal Services Facility, 929 Highland Ave Stay in your vehicle at al times: workers will remove waste items from your car. No walk-ins permitted. Queueing will end promptly at noon.
