TOWN OF YARMOUTH PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT OPERATOR Description: The Town of Yarmouth is currently accepting applications for the position of Equipment Operator. The position requires both physical labor, and skilled and semi-skilled work in the operation of heavy equipment and maintenance of Town roads and infrastructure. Requirements: Experience in operating heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, excavators, street sweepers, dozers, Class B plow trucks and dump trucks. Class B CDL w/ Tank Endorsement required (Class A preferred). Candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply, as the Town may consider training individuals with similar skillsets and experience. Salary & Benefits: Starting pay for the position, depending on experience, is $17.63 to $20.79 per hour with a $1.00 increase after successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
