Free Meals for Westbrook children throughout the summe The Westbrook School Department is pleased to sponsor the Summer Food Service Program again this summer. FREE nutritious lunches will be available Monday through Friday to all Westbrook children under the age of 19, at the locations and times listed below. The Program will begin on Monday June 25th and run through Friday August 17th, except July 4th & 19th. Thousands of children depend upon the National School Lunch and Breakfast program for the nutrition they need to grow and learn, during the school year. The Summer Food Service Program is meant to fill the gap during the summer months when school is not in session. Funding for this program comes from the USDA.
