SEAL OF City of Westbrook 2 York St., Westbrook, ME 04092 (207) 854-9105 Fax: (207) 854-0635 Westbrook City Forest Master Plan The City of Westbrook is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to bid on master plan design services for the City Forest to achieve a multi-use trail system. The desired goals of this project are to 1) Create a trail system for the community inclusive of varying ages and ability. Trail design shall allow for low impact uses such as cross-country skiing, hiking, mountain biking, trail running, snowshoeing and/or sledding. No ATV access shall be permitted. 2.) Protect and preserve existing biodiversity through land conservation 3.) Incorporate a mix of elements complimentary to trail systems (conservation efforts, outdoor education, wayfinding, parking, etc.) 4.) Work in collaboration with the Westbrook Recreation and Conservation Commission. Bidders must submit their proposal in writing to City of Westbrook, ATTN: Ashley Rand, 2 York Street, Westbrook, ME 04092 Proposal must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked "Westbrook City Forest Master Plan" and must be submitted no later than 11:00am on Friday November 15, 2019 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after this date and time shall not be accepted.
