WORKFORCE Beginner Guitar Those with a little or no experience will learn the chords, skills, and techniques that are a strong foundation for starting your guitar playing journey. Dates: Tuesdays, February 11-March 10 Time: 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Cost: $60 Substitute Teacher Preparation Class There is an urgent need for substitute teachers locally and in area school districts. This class will walk you through the steps you need to become a substitute teacher. Dates: Tue. and Thu., January 28 & 30 Times: 6:00-8:00 pm. Cost: $29 Beyond Beginner Guitar Further develop your guitar playing skills and improve your understanding of the guitar fret board. Dates: Mon. through Thu., April 27-30 Times: 5:00-8:00 p.m. (workforce training: 5:00-6:00; class: 6:00-8:00) Cost: FREE Fiction Writing Club This is a hands-on writing class that is guaranteed to inspire your imagination and flame your creativity: Dates: Tuesdays, February 25-April 14 Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cost: $79 EDUCATION HISET/Accuplacer Preparation Class If you did not earn your high school diploma, the HISET (High School Equivalency Test) is a test you can take to earn the equivalency of the diploma. Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 14-May 7 Time: 5:00-7:30 p.m. Cost: Free First Aid and CPR Learn both in theory and hands-on applications. Completers will receive their American Red Cross certificate in standard First Aid for Adults, CPR and AED.
