NOTICE Is hereby given that the South Portland Planning Board will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Wednesday April 28, 2021 to review and consider two updates to the Planning Board Regulations that govern Planning Board hearings and review procedures. The City of South Portland Planning Division is proposing to update Regulation #5 to add several standard conditions of approval that would apply to all relevant projects subject to Planning Board review. The second update establishes Regulation #11, which incorporates M.R.S.ATitle 30-A §4402.6, and allows the Planning Board to consider a division of a new or existing structure into 3 or more dwelling units, whether sthe division is accomplished by sale, lease, development or otherwise, under municipal site plan review only and not through subdivision review because the municipal site plan review standards and requirements are adequate to evaluate the subdivision review criteria that are in effect in the City of South Portland.
