Searboraugh DEMS VOTE November 5 Promoting Democracy at the Grass Roots Robert (Will) Rowan William (Bill) Donovan Candidates Bill is a two term councilor. A retired tax and real estate attorney, his expertise has been in formu lating policy that has kept Scarborough taxes stable, retained the quality of services provided to the citizens of Scarborough, and supported our schools. Bill developed the Senior Tax Rebate program which is used by many seniors in town. Will is a software architect, with prior experience on the Town Council (2015-2018). He is active in the Scarborough Housing Alliance and the His- toric Preservation Implementation Committee. He supports a predictable and stable budgeting process in town government and responsible growth balanced with conservation. Will and his wife have two children in Scarborough's schools for Scarborough Town Council Alicia Giftos Bryan Shumway Alicia is running for re-election to a full term on the Board. As an Assistant Attorney General for the child protective division, she has fought to ensure all Maine's children live in a safe environ- ment, one where they can lean and reach their full potential. She has three children in the Scar- borough system, and in her role on the School Board has served on several important commit- tees Bryan is a developer of affordable housing. A long- time activist on the Scarborough Education Foun- dation and the Housing Alliance, he and his wife have four children in the Scarborough schools. His leadership skills include the ability to bring to- gether multiple perspectives to help organizations such as the School Board make decisions based on common interests and understanding for the benefit of Scarborough's students.
