PUBLIC NOTICE: NOTICE OF INTENT TO FILE AND PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING Please take notice that OceanView at Cumberland LLC of 20 Blueberry Lane, Falmouth Maine 04105; representative: Chris Wasileski, phone 207.781.4460, is intending to file a DEP Site Location of De- velopment Act and Natural Resources Protection Act Tier 2/3 Amendment application with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection pursuant to the provisions of 38 M.R.S.A. §§ 480-A thru 480-BB and 481 thru 490 on or about December 30, 2019. The application is for the development of Phase 2 of Cumberland Crossing, a senior living community located off Tuttle Road and 228 Greely Road in the Town of Cumberland. Phase 1 of the project will be amended from 52 to 53 units and Phase 2 proposes approximately 52 additional cottage units and a community center at the former Godsoe farm. Phase 2 of the project includes approximately 5,350 lineal feet of private roadways, underground utilities, trails, open space and stormwater management systems. The amendment proposes to fill or alter an additional approximately O.4 acres of wetlands and includes one stream crossing. A Public Informational Meeting will be held on Thursday, December 19th, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the former Godsoe farmhouse, 228 Greely Road, Cumberland, Maine 04021. All residents or abutters are encouraged to attend. A request for a public hearing or a request that the Board of Environmental Protection assume jurisdic- tion over this application must be received by the Department in writing, no later than 20 days after the application is found by the Department to be complete and is accepted for processing. A public hearing may or may not be held at the discretion of the Commissioner or Board of Environmental Protection. Public comment on the application will be accepted throughout the processing of the application. The application will be filed for public inspection at the Department of Environmental Protection's office in Portland during normal working hours. A copy of the application may also be seen at the municipal offices in Cumberland, Maine. Written public comments may be sent to the regional office in Portland where the application is filed for public inspection: MDEP, Southern Maine Regional Office, 312 Canco Road, Portland, Maine 04103.
