Elect Robert Vail for Cumberland Town Counci "Let me begin by thanking you for taking and open an active and ongoing dialog with the time to read this piece. I am seeking oneour neighboring communities. There is a of the two open seats on Cumberland's Townneed to develop boards and committees so we are collaborating with our neighboring communities. The time is upon us to focus on solutions. Pushing our challenges, problems, and issues down the road to deal with "on ideas to be actively pursued. There is a phrase that continues to resonate with me, "thinlk globally act locally" We can, and should, continue commercial development as long as it is done in a thoughtful manner I do not support status quo. Rather, let focus on planning for the future through innovation and boldness, Cumberland is an Council with a strong desire to serve the itizens in our community I have lived in Cumberland for over 50 years moving here when I was in grade school. I am proud to be a part of this community and I care very muc about Cumberland's future. I want to ensure likely facing many of the same challenges. Let's take the steps necessary to ensure there is an active, collaborative, and ongoing dialog and that, as a community, we are well prepared for the future while taking care of those in need. These goals are not mutually exclusive. Leadership can, and must, address the respective goals simultaneously. It is my hope that you will go to the polls on June 11th, 2019 and give me the honor of serving you in a leadership role as a member of our Town Council.
