Anyone who has had a friend or family member living with dementia, including Alzheimer’s and related memory impairments, knows the toll that these conditions can take on both that person and their loved ones. As our population ages and the incidence of memory impairments grows, we have committed ourselves to being the memory care leader in Maine.
Woodlands Memory Care of Cape Elizabeth, like our other dedicated memory care facilities, has been purposely constructed around the needs of those living with memory impairments. We have carefully considered the physical spaces, including colors, visual cues, and other design features that provide familiarity and help those with memory impairments feel safe.
